MyMoney is a free service for all North Shore Bank customers.
Q: Is this app a part of Facebook and will my bank info be shared with Facebook?
A:
Although MyMoney is a Facebook app, none of your personal or financial information is shared with Facebook. The application resides outside of Facebook on a secure platform and utilizes the same multi-factor authentication as Online Banking.
Q: Will my account information be safe in MyMoney?
A:
Even though MyMoney is a Facebook app, it doesn’t share personal information with Facebook. The app itself sits outside of Facebook with secure encryption that ensure your account information is private.
Q: How do I find the MyMoney app?
A:
When you're in the application section of Facebook, search for "MyMoney".
Q: What does the MyMoney application icon look like?
A:
This is the icon that you should look for when searching for the MyMoney app in Facebook.
Q: What account information can I view in MyMoney?
A:
You can view your deposit account details (Checking, Savings, CDs) from within the MyMoney app. Loan information is not viewable at this time.
Q: What benefits will MyMoney give me?
A:
MyMoney is a light version of Online Banking that will allow you to view transactions, transfer money between North Shore Bank accounts, and view your account history. To make bill payments, view loan information, create scheduled transfers, view eStatements, or set up eAlerts, you will need to sign up for or log into Online Banking.
Q: What should I do if I can’t log into MyMoney?
A:
If your account is locked out or if you forget your password, you can contact our Customer Support Center at 877.672.2265.
Q: Do I need an Online Banking account to use MyMoney?
A:
You don't need to have an Online Banking account to use MyMoney, but you should check it out if you'd like additional features such as transfer scheduling, All Pay Bill Payment, ZashPay person-to-person payments, and eStatements.
Q: If I have a joint account, and both myself and the other account holder have Facebook profiles, can we both install the MyMoney app?
A:
Yes, you can both install and use the MyMoney app on each of your profiles.
Q: When will transfers done in MyMoney be processed?
A:
MyMoney shares the same transfer schedule as Online Banking.
Q: Can I use MyMoney on my mobile device?
A:
If your device can display the desktop version of Facebook, then MyMoney will work on it.
Q: Who should I contact if I’m having trouble with my Facebook account?
A:
For questions about your Facebook profile, please consult their help section.
Q: Should I increase my privacy settings in Facebook before I install the MyMoney app?
A:
Since MyMoney doesn’t share information with Facebook, your privacy settings can remain as you prefer to have them.
Q: Why doesn't my Available Balance display any cents?
A:
We're aware of an issue that is preventing cents in the Available Balance column to appear and are working to correct this error.
